WORLD CHAMPION LEVEL

Promotion of young talent in the automotive trade – Metzger Autoteile is committed

Metzger Autoteile is strengthening the promotion of young talent in the automotive trade and making top-level performance tangible at trade fairs.

Metzger Autoteile continues to expand its commitment to the future of the automotive trade: In cooperation with the German Motor Trade Association’s economic organization (WG), the company actively supports young talent in automotive mechatronics.

The focus is on nurturing young talents, imparting technical know-how, and fostering enthusiasm for modern vehicle technology.

As an established partner in the automotive aftermarket, Metzger Autoteile offers a wide range of high-quality spare parts for wholesalers and automotive workshops. Technical expertise and close alignment with workshop practice are actively incorporated into training programs and youth development initiatives.

Working together for the skilled professionals of tomorrow

The cooperation is part of the young talent initiatives of the German Confederation of the Motor Trade (ZdK). Together with the economic organization of the motor trade, supported by the Federal Association of Motor Vehicle Guilds, young talents are specifically prepared for competitions such as WorldSkills.

WorldSkills Germany e.V. is committed to strengthening vocational education and promoting international excellence. Metzger Autoteile complements this commitment with practical expertise and a close connection to the automotive aftermarket.

Experience technology live:
Added value at our trade fair stands

The partnership comes to life directly at Metzger Autoteile’s trade fair stands. In hands-on live training sessions and demonstrations, members of WorldSkills Germany e.V. provide insights into modern diagnostic and repair techniques.

Workshops and trade partners gain practical input for their daily work and experience how technical know-how and high-quality spare parts interact perfectly.

A world champion as ambassador

Stefan Mißbach, automotive mechatronics technician and world champion in automotive mechatronics (WorldSkills 2022 – Special Edition), is part of the cooperation. His title win marked a milestone for the German automotive trade.

Outlook: Training programs in Filderstadt

Another key component is joint events at the new Metzger Autoteile training center in Filderstadt, scheduled for completion at the end of 2026. Modern training facilities for both young talents and skilled professionals are being developed there.

Steve Kistner, Head of Technical Field Service at Metzger Autoteile, says:

“Stefan Mißbach combines exceptional technical expertise with a passion for technology and shares his knowledge directly with young talents as a trainer. He exemplifies the high quality that vocational training in the automotive trade has achieved today.”
